International GAP client and their story so far.

What a way to kick off the New Year!

The GAP team were lucky enough to spend some onsite time with one of our international clients as Ramos, one of the Labo founding team visited Melbourne and EI over the holiday period.

Ramon Lemus and his cofounder Carlos Lemus are the first Global Advisory Program clients based internationally. Ramon is based in Indonesia and Carlos based in Mexico, where their first product is currently being launched.

Labo was born out of both Ramon and Carlos’s desire to improve healthcare in Mexico by consolidating a fragmented pathology health care system into an accessible, high-quality service producing results faster than what currently exists. Their mission will be no easy feat but we believe they are up for the challenge.

Ramon and Carlos engaged the Global Advisory Program very early on during the idea stage. So far, Labo registered their business and have a clear strategic business plan featuring market entry goals and concrete plans for expansion.  EI’s Advisors have assisted the process of taking ideas to business reality and have also introduced them to a local Australian product manufacturing supply chain.

The EI team looking forward to celebrating the official launch of Labo’s Phase One early in 2022 and will share more of Ramon and Carlos’ achievements in the coming months.
