Being More Resilient Virtual Event

12 Nov 2020 | 12.00-1.30pm | Making the most of the ‘new’ Monash economy

Event Overview

Monash’s path to economic recovery after COVID-19 is hard to predict. There are numerous unknown
factors that are out of our control such as “will there be another wave of infections?”, “when will the
national and international borders open up?” and “what will business operations look like going forward?”.

In November, the Monash Women’s Business Network event focuses on this recovery, where they will have special guest presenter, Emma Alberici will share her take on where Monash is headed.

If you are a business in the Monash Precinct this is an event you should attend.

About the Presenter

Emma Alberici is one of Australia’s most highly regarded journalists. Her career began at Herald Sun newspaper, then she made the move to television – working for the Nine network for 10 years.

In 2002 Emma moved to the ABC to present Business Breakfast and over the years has been in roles including the 7.30 Report’s Finance Editor, a senior reporter for AM and PM radio programs and broadcaster’s Europe Correspondent, based in London for four years.

As foreign correspondent Emma was the first Australian mother to do such a role (she had three children under three years of age at the time). This is something she is thrilled that is not so remarkable anymore. She also hosted national TV program Lateline for six years.

Join the Monash Women’s Business Network at this event to get Emma Alberici’s take on where Monash’s economy is headed.
